Online Individual Psychotherapy for Adults
In English, Spanish, and Portuguese
Finding a therapist is an important decision. The quality of the therapeutic relationship often plays a central role in the process of change. For that reason, I strive to create an environment where people feel comfortable speaking openly, reflecting on their experiences, and exploring new ways of understanding themselves.
People seek therapy for many different reasons. Some are struggling with anxiety or depression. Others are facing relationship difficulties, grief, work-related stress, or major life transitions. Sometimes the reason is less clear—a growing sense that life no longer feels as meaningful or balanced as it once did.
Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and better understand the emotional patterns that influence the way we think, feel, and relate to others. Through this process, many people gain new perspectives, develop greater emotional resilience, and discover more satisfying ways of living.
Therapy in English, Spanish & Portuguese
I have particular experience working with immigrants, bilingual professionals, and adults living between cultures. Many of my clients are adapting to a new country while maintaining meaningful connections to their culture of origin.
Speaking in the language that feels most natural or emotionally meaningful can allow thoughts and emotions to emerge more freely. I provide psychotherapy in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, allowing clients to express themselves in the language that feels most natural to them.
If you're looking for a Spanish-speaking therapist in New York, a Portuguese-speaking therapist, or a bilingual counselor who understands the experience of navigating life in more than one language, you're in the right place. I offer consejería en español (counseling in Spanish) and psicoterapia em português (psychotherapy in Portuguese), in addition to therapy in English — so you can choose the language that feels most natural to you.
My Approach
Every person brings a unique history, personality, and set of life experiences to therapy. Rather than following a single formula, I tailor the therapeutic process to each individual's needs and goals.
My work is guided by careful listening, clinical experience, and respect for each person's values and life story. I believe that therapy is not simply about reducing symptoms, but also about fostering greater self-understanding, strengthening relationships, and supporting meaningful personal growth.
About Me
I am licensed to practice psychotherapy in New York, where I have lived for the past 28 years, and I am also registered to provide telehealth in Florida. Before moving to the United States, I practiced as a clinical psychologist in Chile.
My professional experience in both countries has strengthened my appreciation for the ways culture, language, and life experiences influence emotional well-being and the therapeutic process.
I work online with adults from diverse backgrounds and welcome individuals seeking therapy in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
